Tandoori Night Indian Restaurant

Tandoori Night’s unassuming appearance is overshadowed by its accommodating service and wonderful food. There is surely something to please every vegetarian and any of their carnivore/omnivore friends, and vegans will note that the wait staff is not only clear on which items are vegan, but they also have suggestions on how several other items can be easily veganized.
Au Lac Cafe
Posted June 2nd, 2007 by JessiAs I mentioned in my restaurant review last month, it’s time to pay homage to the two fully vegetarian restaurants in Fresno. Last month’s review covered the newest, New Stars Vegetarian restaurant. Now we’re back to an old (if one year is old) favorite, the Tower District’s Au Lac Café.
Brew Review: Sequoia Brewery

This review could be a bit Biased due to the fact that neither one of us like light beer. Further, the review is dictated in real time. Cheers!
Blossomtrail/Honey Wheat Beer
NN - “A nice, subtle aroma of twigs and berries, just a dash of pollen.” Takes a sip, “See Zima in the dictionary. This tastes more like a glass of 5-Alive than a beer. Note: great for sports drink.”
JH – “Yum! It’s a bit lighter than what I’d usually choose, but it’s kinda tangy. Reminds me of bubblegum. I actually like this one…”
The Bacchus Blurb: Englemann Cellars
Posted April 27th, 2007 by cdfierroThere is something refreshing about a mom and pop type wines. There is always a bit of a the unknown. You may stumble across some of the best wine you’ve ever had, it may be pedestrian, or even bad; it’s all part of the charm.
Bacchus Blurb: Milla Vineyards
Posted April 27th, 2007 by cdfierroIf you haven’t heard of Milla Vineyards, you should become familiar with this local winery. When it’s 100 degrees and shade offers no reprieve, but you still wish to partake of a nice bottle of wine, your choices usually consist of a wine of the white variety. Not that white wines aren’t fine, they do have their place, but if you’re like me, you prefer a wine that has a bit more to it than a white wine can provide.
Lahori Tikka

You need only walk into Lahori Tikka to understand why this restaurant is the latest addition to my list of favorite restaurants. When you first walk in, you won’t notice the décor (not that there’s anything wrong with it) because you’ll be overcome by the fantastic aromas.
