Healthy Dairy Friends,

The County just released a draft zoning framework that could include
clean air standards. However, this first draft ordinance does not
include ANY standards that will directly improve air quality in Fresno
County! We must act now to show the County that we support Clean Air
policy Tuesday, April 10 at 6 p.m. at the County Plaza Ballroom (info
attached).

We need your help! We will personally call Clean Air supporters to
invite them to attend the County's Public Workshop. We will make these
calls as a team on Tuesday, April 3, Wednesday April 4, Thursday April
5 and Monday, April 9 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Please reply to this email
to let us know which days you or someone from your organization can
join us. We will eat together, make calls together and overall, have a
lot of fun getting the word out about how we can give a strong message
to policymakers in our valley.

To reach out to the amount of people who have expressed support, we
really need 50 people to call with us – could you arrange for five of
your members, volunteers, students, or friends to join us?

Other ways to get the word out about this important meeting include:

Þ forwarding email announcements to listserves

Þ writing a letter to the editor in the Fresno Bee

Þ publishing an announcement in a newsletter

Þ posting the event info in online calendars

Þ inviting members to sign support cards

Please let me know which of these things your organization can do!

Please consider inviting clean-air support through taking several
minutes to get active in these five ways. I look forward to hearing
from you about how you are able to encourage Clean Air policy in
Fresno.

I've attached a flyer and sign-up sheet that you can use. A
graphically designed flyer will be coming soon.

Best,

Susan Kroeker
