The City of Clovis is accepting applications to fill its two seats on the Public Access Channel Joint Powers Authority Board. The Joint Powers Authority will consist of five members with three appointed by the City of Fresno and two appointed by the City of Clovis.

As part of its responsibilities, the Board will

• oversee the use of funds to provide public access programs including Public, Educational, and Government Programming (PEG) for our Region,
• oversee a non-profit organization that will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the PEG programming' and
• oversee the distribution of an estimated $625,000 annually.

An application can be downloaded from the City of Clovis website. Applications will be accepted until September 5, 2008 and will remain on file for one year.
