Ok, San Joaquin Valley Progressives, it's time to get your act together.

The way we get the word out about events is inconsistent, unproductive and inefficient. Notifications are not reaching the widest possible audience and our ability to build a broad left movement in this area is suffering as a result.

Right now there are three primary sources for information about events of interest to the progressive community—the Community Alliance, the Fresno Undercurrent, and IndyBay Central Valley.

Events are often not posted on all venues and inevitably some will not hear about one or more of them. In addition and as a result, we are ofttimes bombarded with emails from a number of sources (in addition to a seemingly undending stream of email forwards) in earnest attempts to get the word out.

Let's decide on a single source for announcing our events. The progressive community will be all the better for it and we just may see an increase in participation in our events and some new faces in the crowd.
