Jessi's Top Five Favorite Rogue Shows (so far)
First, thanks to everyone who is performing, volunteering, and otherwise involved with the Rogue Festival! This is truely my favorite time of year, and I'm always impressed with many of the people involved!
I saw twelve shows over the weekend, and I now offer my top five list of must-see shows of the first weekend, in alphabetical order:
All in the Timing
Along the Path of Larks and Swallows
American Squatter
Dynamite Kablammo
Farewell to the Toothfairy
Pentecostal Wisconsin
You noticed too, huh? That my top five list actually has six shows on it. That's how hard it is to choose just five favorites! My first go at this list had ten shows on it. On top of that, there are about six more shows I can't wait to see next weekend, including "Masculinities and other Myths," "Party of One" (the one-woman clown show), the Philharmonic's "Bugs Bunny on Broadway," and "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari."
We have a couple days off of Rogue, and then things pick up again on Wednesday, March 5. If you've seen some shows, consider writing a review here on the Undercurrent website!
