What a great show! Tony is a wonderful musician, and it's not very often most of us have the opportunity to hear organ music. Tony performed some wonderful repertoire, including one of my favorites, Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor (probably the most recognizable composition for organs; it's typically used as a backdrop to creepy and sinister situations, though, as Tony notes, Bach probably did not intend for that). Tony's performance presents many personalities of the instrument, from brooding, to soothing, and to delicate. The presentation is straightforward, and he takes questions afterwards. Anyone interested in instrumental music should see this show! Tony is performing at Ashtree Studio on Wednesday 3/5 at 7:30.
