The Adventures of Ace Stealheart
I thought the idea of doing a 1940s radio drama sounded like a neat concept, but I think they underutilized the genre. I was disappointed.
I had hoped they'd use more radio drama-style sound affects and music (I did like some of the use of organ music, but it made me wish for more of that). The story was a bit ridiculous (not in a good way), difficult to follow, and laced with juvenile humor (not the fun kind, in my opinion). While a couple of the performers used some good accents, overall the acting was un-captivating. When they all walked off the stage at the end, no one clapped because we couldn't tell if they were actually done or not (the show was only 30 minutes).
I don't know, to each their own, but this did not strike me as a Rogue-caliber show.
